Cozy provides an in-depth interview explaining the current state of “Hawaii” hip-hop and it’s struggles, women in the scene, his past/inspirations, growing as a musician/becoming a renaissance man, the influence of Big Mox, and lastly, how accessible Hip-hop has become compared to way back when.

Great interview. I hope more local artists decide to share their stories and bring a stronger face to their music. I totally agree with the lack of exposure we get here in Hawaii. I feel like we do need to attach the term “Hawaii” to hip-hop here because of that.
