Thought I’d share a peaceful and relaxing mixtune I found today while sweeping the Cloud. I like to create/mix tracks just like Ohtoro (he is a local Honolulu musician as well) so I’m more than happy to show some love on this.

Here’s a brief bio on Ohtoro:

J Dilla, Flying Lotus and other LA Beat Scene artists have been inspiring Ohtoro as a beat crafter for over a decade. Scott’s eclectic music taste and ability to play multiple instruments lets him create soundscapes for any mood. He started making beats under the guidance of DJ Cheapshot, Exile and Aloe Blacc and has performed over 100 shows in the last year with local Hip Hop artist Super Groupers. When The Right Time is his latest release on special edition hand-designed vinyl (by Ohtoro himself with a little help from some art friends) available at his Bandcamp site. It’s a spacey journey through electronic and Hip Hop beats featuring LA’s top emcee Blu, singer-songwriter Montclaire and Na Hoku Hanohano winners Navid Najafi and Illis It.
